A fun romp between alien and human, with scads of sex. Normally I'm not a fan of WC Pope's illustrations, but here they worked marvelously. Unfortunately the story's greatest weakness is in its expansion. I know it happens because I'm told about it, but there is no lingering over it, no real description of it when it's happening. The expansion might as well happen off-stage for all of the description it receives.
