The thing about Tenebrae's stories is that you either love them or hate them. Ten has some very specific fetish interests, and a very distinct way of writing. The best description of this story I can give is that it is very nonsensical. Allow yourself to suspend disbelief for a few moments, and I think you'll find the story succeeds in being whimsical and light.
